Crack
Injections
Filling
the crack with either Epoxy or Urethane Foam formulated
specifically for crack intectors. Epoxy
is typically used for structural cracks (larger than
1/16”) and will seal and bond the crack with
a bond stronger than the concrete bond. Urethane may
be used in wet conditions or an active water leak.
The
installation process involves the following steps: cleaning
the crack area and installing injection “ports” every
5 inches over the crack, covering the crack and ports
with surface
epoxy and then injecting (filling) the crack with epoxy
or urethane.
